Hockey is back – Stage 2

We’re pleased to announce that overnight the Covid Safe Field Team Sports Industry Plan was approved by Qld government which is great news for hockey.  We now have some clarity on how our players can return to the pitch for training.

Club representatives will attend training on Saturday morning hosted by GC Hockey Management Group (GCHMG) to understand the facility requirements to ensure everyone’s safe return to hockey during Stage 2.

When

  • from 15 June – Senior & Junior teams training
  • from 9 June – BHL teams training

Our BHL Men’s teams will return to training week commencing Monday 8 June, with club teams following the week after.  Training times and days may need to be altered to ensure that all teams have reasonable access under the new guidelines.

If you would like to read more about the Covid Safety Plans, please click on this link to access GCHMG’s operating guidelines.  By the time teams are ready to start, we will have mastered all the requirements and have a simple process to follow.
