Junior Development Coaches for 2018
For anyone who is planning to coach one of our Junior Development teams (Tigerstix Cubs, Rookies or Tens) there will be two weekend sessions (approximately 1 – 1.5 hrs each) prior to the start of the Junior Development season. At this stage it is proposed that these will take place on Saturday 24th February and Saturday 3rd March (Times and Venue to be advised). We would really like you to attend these as it will make your coaching experience more enjoyable. Please complete the above Junior Development Coaching Nomination form ASAP as Bruce is already looking at the organisation of 2018. Coaches Under 11 – Senior Teams
Labrador Hockey Club is continuing to develop and upskill all our coaches and have conducted Monday Night sessions to accredit our coaches to Level 1 with Brent Livermore and Darren Fowler. For those who haven’t been able to attend these but who are planning to coach any Labrador team (U11 – Senior levels), a Level 1 Coaching Course will be held in the New Year. This will be a total of approx. 6 hours either on a weekend or over a couple of weeknight sessions. Details will be sent to all coaches who nominate.

School Coaches 2018
Your Club is seeking expressions of interest for School Coaches who will be employed from February 5 to 23, 2018. The successful candidates will be responsible for delivering our Junior Hockey Schools Program to Labrador Hockey Club allocated primary schools. Ability to work enthusiastically, independently, apply for a Working with Children Blue Card (if not currently held), have your own transport and being available during school hours are the essential criteria for being appointed to one of the available positions.
