A player who accepts financial or inkind support from Labrador Hockey Club agrees to play for Labrador in any competition that Labrador participates in during the season following such assistance being offered.

Should a player wish to play for a club other than Labrador during the first season following such assistance, they are to refund in full to Labrador Hockey Club any monies invested in them during the preceding year.

Should a player not wish to refund monies deemed to be invested in them, they will be deemed unfinancial with Labrador Hockey Club and their new club of choice will be advised that financial clearance will not be granted.

Exemption shall apply for a player:
If playing in a competition other than Gold Coast Hockey, relocate to another area that is forty kilometres further from Keith Hunt Park than their existing location due to work or study requirements.

Any other written applications for exemption will be considered by the management committee on their merits.
