The girls played in Wollongong and the two Queensland teams battled it out in the final with the Fire taking out the Gold medal after defeating Flare 2-0. Congratulations to Kyra on what we are guessing was a great experience.
Tate’s competition starts tomorrow in Wollongong and we wish him the best of luck!
With an uncertain timeframe for our field to be ready for use, training and trials will begin at the Runaway Bay Super Centre field.
THIS WILL NOT NECESSARILY BE ON EITHER THE DAY OR TIME THAT YOUR TEAM WILL TRAIN ONCE THE LABRADOR FIELD IS READY.
It will also mean that we will not have the room on the turf we are used to because we need to limit the training for the whole club to two days to allow other clubs access to Runaway for training as well. We ask that everyone is patient and respects the time and effort that has gone into ensuring we can at least start the year in the normal timeframe.
The times and days below will go from the start date indicated until the week ending 31st March or until you are notified that we can move in to Labrador.
ONCE WE ARE BACK AT LABRADOR
JUNIORS – Will train as follows:
SENIORS – A new training schedule will be established which will allow all teams to train separately. Training days will then also include Wednesday.
Our Coordinators are getting started on preparations for the new season and are still looking for coaches. If you are interested please contact one of the following people –
Junior Development email Bruce Curtis
Juniors U11 – U17 email Lauren Clarke

Senior Men and BHL email Justin Ward
